BioHere's the snapshot bio: Born in St. Louis, MO in 1980, went to Thomas Jefferson School and then on to Swarthmore College. Today I'm a Ph.D. student at the CMU Robotics Institute.
Ever since I was seven years old, I wanted to fly airplanes. Now that I'm out of college, I have the opportunity to make it happen. While I'm working on it, I'll be recording my experiences here---partly for friends and family, partly for people who are thinking about taking flying lessons in Pittsburgh, and partly to have something to look back on in years down the road.
